CLINTON — A Clinton man remains in DeWitt County jail, pending a bond hearing, after his arrest Thursday on drug charges.

Cade R. Bray, 40, is accused of participating in methamphetamine manufacturing, a Class X felony, and disposal of methamphetamine manufacturing waste, a Class 2 felony. If convicted, he could spend up to 30 years in prison.

He was arrested after an investigation by Task Force 6, a multi-agency police unit specializing in narcotics enforcement. It is composed of officers from the Clinton Police Department, DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office, McLean County Sheriff’s Office, Piatt County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State University Police Department, and the Illinois State Police.
