NORMAL — Normal Police Chief Rick Bleichner said his department is asking for the public’s help in finding a Normal man who was last seen April 15.
Sebert Crose, 35, was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. on April 15, in the area of Clinton and Locust Streets in Bloomington, police say. He was driving a 2005 dark gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with an extended cab, a topper, 20-inch chrome wheels and skulls around the license plate. The license plate number is 1031946.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and a blue and white baseball hat. Crose is 5-foot-9 inches, about 200 pounds, with long black hair and tattoos visible on both arms.
Family members say they have been searching all over Central Illinois for any trace of him or his truck.
“He left his house at 9:30 Monday night and didn’t say where he was going,” his niece, Ashley Doage, said. “A missing person report was filed Friday. “We have been through the Minier, Stanford and Danvers area because his girlfriend and cousin have been searching in that area and we have been all through there, but we haven’t found anything. We heard that his truck was spotted in Farmer City, and we have been there, but still haven’t found anything. We just don’t know where to go from here.”
Doage said his bank account appears to be untouched and a GPS location placed him at the intersection of Front and Center at about 10 p.m. on April 15, but after that, there is no recorded location.
Bloomington Police have also been notified about Crose’s disappearance, said BPD spokesman Dave White.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Normal Police Department at 309-454-9527.
