Cocaine — A 24-year-old Bloomington man faces three counts of delivery and manufacture of illegal drugs.
Ransom Carr was jailed Thursday in lieu of posting $25,035 on charges of manufacture/delivery of 1 to 15 grams of cocaine, manufacture/delivery of a narcotic and manufacture/delivery of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis.
Members of the Bloomington Police Department's vice and street crimes units conducted the investigation and took Carr into custody after a traffic stop on Tuesday. Officers seized 2.9 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $300, "evidence of drug distribution" and cash, police said in a statement.
Meth — A 32-year-old man was arrested by Bloomington police late Wednesday night on a preliminary charge of aggravated manufacturing of crystal methamphetamine. He is expected to be formally charged Friday.
Bloomington police investigated a report of meth production late Wednesday night at Econo Lodge, 401 Brock Drive, Bloomington.
The Pantagraph does not identify suspects in such cases until formal charges are filed and bond is set.
Residential burglary — A Normal woman faces multiple felony charges.
Jennifer Rice, 38, of the 800 block of Osage Street, was charged with two counts of residential burglary and two counts of burglary. She was released on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond.
