Shooting — A man has been arrested in connection with a Feb. 3 shooting in the 2100 block of North Veterans Parkway.
No one was injured.
Shomari J. Givihan, 21, of Bloomington, was arrested Wednesday in Normal by members of the Bloomington Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit and U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Givihan faces multiple counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm/occupied vehicle and possession of firearm/FOID invalid/not eligible. He remains in McLean County jail in lieu of posting $10,035 bond.

Fire — Firefighters were called around 8:30 a.m. Thursday to 912 W. Front St. for a small fire in an interior wall. A cause and a damage estimate were not available Thursday.
A family was safely evacuated from the residence and the American Red Cross is assisting them. There were no injuries reported.
