PONTIAC — Following are Livingston County election results, by location, for contested races in cities and school boards and referendums voted on Tuesday. Results are not listed for township, library and fire districts and multi-county entities.
Fairbury: Winning the mayoral term was David Slagel with 578 votes. The other candidates were: Kaci Zimmerman, 198 votes, Brian Meints, 54 votes, and Seth Welch, 220 votes. Winning the Ward 2 alderman seat was Gerald Hoffman, 99 votes. Other Ward 2 candidates were Kay Casey, 22 votes, and Curtis Kester, 59 votes.
Dwight: Winning village president was Jared Anderson with 566 votes. Bill Wilkey received 240 votes. Winning three four-year trustee seats were Justin Eggenberger, 628 votes, Jerry Curtis, 538 votes, and Jennifer Johnson, 540 votes. Dorreen Hodgson received 344 votes. Winning a two-year trustee seat was Randall Irvin, 361 votes. David DeLong received 250 votes and Tim Dougherty had 166.
Forrest: Winning three trustee seats were Greg Knauer, 47 votes, Ronald Steidinger, 47 votes, and Paul Honegger, 55 votes. The other candidates and their vote totals were Gerald Kestner, 23, Jon Bach, 34, and Joyce Gulliford, 44.
Long Point: Winning village president was Jean Gray with 24 votes. Linda Zavada had 16 votes.
Indian Grove Township: The tax levy increase was rejected, 476-470.
Nevada Township: Limiting the tax rate increase was approved, 32-13.
Pike Township: Limiting the tax rate increase was approved, 35-20.
