EUREKA — Woodford County voters won’t have to make any local decisions on the Nov. 6 ballot, because every county-level office is uncontested.
Each of the county-wide candidates is Republican. They are incumbent Circuit Clerk Carol J. Newtson, newcomer state’s attorney Gregory M. Minger; incumbent Coroner Tim D. Ruestman.
Voters choose five candidates in each County Board district. Unless noted, candidates are Republican and incumbents. By district, they are:
District 1: John Krug, El Paso; Thomas L. Janssen, Minonk; newcomer Dean Backer, Roanoke; newcomer John S. Delaney, El Paso; Terry A. Pille, Minonk.
District 2: Barry L. Logan, Metamora; Mike Hinrichsen, Germantown Hills; Russell W. Cotton, Metamora; Don Cremeens, Metamora; Douglas D. Huser, Metamora.
District 3: newcomer Andy Rokey, Eureka; Larry E. Whitaker, Eureka; Stanley K. Glazier, Congerville; Shannon Rocke, Eureka; Andrew Martin, Metamora.
