BLOOMINGTON — A special display of about 30 pieces from Illinois State University’s Lois Jett Costume Collection, to be displayed at the David Davis Mansion State Historic Site, will kick off with a fundraising event from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the mansion.

Tickets are $16 in advance or $20 at the door and can be purchased at the mansion or several Bloomington-Normal businesses. Proceeds will go to the Dr. Tricia Widener-Johnson Scholarship Fund. After the fundraiser, the items will be on display at the mansion through March 15. The full collection includes more than 2,000 garments and accessories; ISU faculty member Lois Jett began the collection in 1962.
