ODELL - Kevin D Carter, 50, Norway, formerly of Odell and Streator, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 11, 2007) in the Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, after suffering a stroke.

Service: 2 p.m. Monday in Hurst Funeral Home, Wenona, with Deacon Charles Zulz officiating.

Burial: St Mary's Cemetery, Wenona.

Visitation: noon until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors: his wife, Diane Tate Cater, LaSalle; his parents, Marie (Bob) Taylor, Streator, and Norman Carter, Dixon; five sons, Nicholas (Ashley) Carter and Ryan Carter, both of Reddick; Sean Carter and Nolan Carter, both at home; and Chad Carter, Pontiac; three daughters, Alyson Carter, Norway; and Tiana Carter and Cecelia Carter, both of Illinois City; one brother, Grey Taylor, Pontiac; three sisters, Denise (Kevin) Likes and Pam (Butch) Rogers, both of Odell; and Sue (Dave) Sechrest, Dana; and his maternal grandmother, Marie Eddy, Oglesby.
