NORMAL - Gednah E. Crosno, 92, Normal, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 10, 2007) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the memorial home. Pastor Joe Culpepper will officiate. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centennial Christian Church, Bloomington, and the First Christian Church of Clinton in her memory.
Gednah was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Clinton, the daughter of Albert R. Ferguson and Sylvia E. Armstrong Ferguson. She married Joseph M. Crosno on Dec. 8, 1933, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death after 71 years of marriage on April 30, 2005.
Gednah is survived by daughter, Joanne Etherton, Bloomington; son, Phil Crosno, Salinas, Calif.; three grandchildren, Rhonda (Ken) Williams, Littleton, Colo.; Donna (James) Martin, Clinton; and Don Etherton, Bloomington; 10 great-grandchildren, Miel Sturdivant; Joli (Steve) Danison; Kier, Ciel and Gabe Masters; Brian, Sean and Kevin Williams; and Joe and Jacki Etherton; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Madison, Jonas and Morgan; Noah, Emma and Elijah; and Aidan and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Donald R. Ferguson; son-in-law, Donald D. Etherton; and daughter-in-law, Betty Crosno.
