DELAND - Richard Carl "Rick" Roy, 54, DeLand, formerly of Mahomet, died at 12:24 p.m. Thursday (July 2, 2009) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, 1699 N. State St., Monticello, with Pastor Steve Ingram and Pastor Dave Woolridge officiating.

Burial: Shiloh Cemetery, rural Mahomet. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, in charge of arrangements.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bellflower Community Center (McLean County Opry), Bellflower.

Survivors: one son, Derrick Roy, Villa Grove; one daughter, Heather Roy, Decatur; father and stepmother, Clarence and Lois Roy, Neon, Ky.; borhter, Tim (Ruth Ann) Roy, Mahomet; and sister Ernestine (G.C.) Kincer, Neon, Ky.; one grandson.
