BLOOMINGTON - Joshua C. "Chewy" Embry, 26, Bloomington, died at 12:46 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 16, 2008) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Joshua was born Nov. 4, 1982, at Normal, son of Robert L. "Scrappy" and Cathy L. Slagel Embry.

Surviving are his parents, Robert L. "Scrappy" and Cathy L. Embry, Bloomington; fiancee, Sheena M. "Sugar" Dow, Bloomington; brother, Robert L. Embry, Bloomington; sister, Heather L. Anderson, Bloomington; uncle, Jerry "Redneck" Roberts, Shirley; niece, Madison G. Embry, Bloomington; nephews, Matthew Jackson and Michael Gazelle, both of Bloomington; and maternal grandmother, C. Diane (Ron) Berkley.

Joshua was employed at Joe's Towing for several years.

Joshua was an active McLean County Outlaws Motorcycle Club member and avid motorcycle enthusiast. He also drove stock cars as a hobby. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
