GIBSON CITY - Teresa Marie Arnold, 54, Urbana, formerly of Thomasboro and Rantoul, died at 5:15 a.m. Friday (July 3, 2009) at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sibley. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Sibley. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and one hour before the service at the church.

Mrs. Arnold was born Jan. 20, 1955, in Gibson City, a daughter of James H. and Flossie Mae Brown Brucker. She married Eugene Arnold on June 9, 1973 in Sibley. He survives in Urbana.

Also surviving are her son, Shawn E. Arnold, Paxton; father, James Brucker, Gibson City; two and brothers, Marlan Brucker, Gibson City, and Mark Brucker, Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and two brothers, Jim Jr. and Eric Lee Brucker.

Teresa worked as a nurse and then stayed home to take care of their handicapped son. She was a Christian woman and was a gourmet cook.
