COLFAX - Bethel B. Weber, 92, of Colfax, passed away Sunday (Aug. 3, 2008) at 11:37 a.m. at Proctor Hospital, Peoria.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Her funeral will also be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Diane Yentes officiating. Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax. The family asks in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Colfax United Methodist Women.

Bethel was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Colfax, the daughter of John P. and Eva Ely Weeks. They preceded her in death.

She married John H. Weber on Aug. 6, 1938 in Colfax. He died July 5, 1991.

Surviving are three sons, Ramon K. (Florence) Weber, Bluffton, Ohio; J. Roger (Donna) Weber, Chillicothe; and James (Sue) Weber, Lacon; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Bethel farmed with her husband in the Anchor area.

She is a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the Colfax United Methodist Women and NTO.
