NORMAL - Ronald Clyde Roop, 73, of Normal, died Thursday (July 2, 2009) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Andrea H. Kladder officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to Timber Pointe Outdoor Recreation Center or Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.

Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the memorial home.

Survivors: His wife, Ann K. Roop, Normal; children, Ricardo Roop, Watson; Ronda (Johnny) Cameron, Bloomington; Timothy Roop, Lewistown; and James "Cory" (Jennifer) Roop, Hudson; a sister, Diane Armstrong, Champaign; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
