MACHESNEY PARK -- Linda Lou Hamilton, 66, of Machesney Park passed away at 1:25 a.m. Saturday (July 4, 2009) in her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1942, in Pontiac, the daughter of Hugh LeRoy and Mary Louise Shane Hoggins Sr. She graduated from Pontiac High School. She married Clarence William Hamilton in Odell on Dec. 2, 1978.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence; daughters, Kathy Kulpa and Sheri (Louis) Tseronis; son, Gary (Judy) Hamilton; grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Abby, Bradley, Zachary, Libby and Benjamin; sister, Ann (Arnold) Thorne; brother, Hugh (Dorie) Hoggins Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty; and brothers, William and Robert.

The family wishes to thank Northern Illinois Hospice for their care and support.

Her service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Gary Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery.

Mary Kuykendal

PEORIA - Mary Catherine Kuykendall, 85, of Peoria passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (July 4, 2009) at the Rosewood Care Center, Peoria.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1923, near Lake Bloomington, to Sam and Elizabeth Rinkenberger Anderson. She married Harold Kuykendall on April 11, 1941, in Kahoha, Mo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1987, in Peoria. Her parents; one daughter, Dorie King; two brothers, Joe and Merle; and two grandchildren, Steve and Tim also preceded her in death.

Surviving is her son, Harold "Dale" (Joyce) Kuykendall of Washington; her brother, Bill Anderson of Lake Bloomington; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
