Jeanette M. “Jenny” Dierkes, 76, of Germantown, passed away at 12:02 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 5, 2017) at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Breese.
She was born May 16, 1941, in Breese, the daughter of Edwin “Hoppie” and Helen Ribbing Holtgrave. They preceded her in death. She married Maurice Dierkes on May 6, 1961, in St. Rose. He survives.
In addition to her husband, Jenny is survived by three children, Brenda (Steve) Hellige, Breese; Douglas (Jennifer) Dierkes, Bloomington; and Craig (JoAnn) Dierkes, Longwood, Fla.; six grandchildren, Kristine (special friend, Taylor Beckmann) Hellige, Matthew Hellige, Justin Dierkes, Ashley Dierkes, Haley Dierkes and Trevor Dierkes; and two brothers, Stan (Kathy) Holtgrave, St. Rose, and Mike (Clarice) Holtgrave, Maryville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown. Visitation will continue from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Friday followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mater Dei High School or American Autoimmune Related Disease Association.
