BLOOMINGTON — John Fuderich Jr., 88, Bloomington, formerly of Chicago and South Holland, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 19, 2012) at his residence.
His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.

He was born Sept. 14, 1924, at Benld, the son of John and Anna Goldasich Fuderich Sr. He married Josephine Loda on Aug. 20, 1949, at Chicago. She died Oct. 26, 2002.
Surviving are a son, John M. Fuderich, Bloomington, and a grandson, Anthony (Jill) Fuderich, Calumet City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Glenn A. Fuderich; and a sister, Barbara Cavanaugh.
Mr. Fuderich retired as director of advanced manufacturing engineering for Skil Corp.
