BLOOMINGTON - John J. Glaub, 64, Bloomington, formerly of Perryville, Mo., died Friday (Feb. 1, 2008) at his home.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young & Sons Chapel, Perryville, with Brother Don Cox officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Memorial gifts may be made to the family, American Lung Association or American Heart Association.

He was born Jan. 4, 1944, in Perryville, a son of John Glen and Esther (Ruch) Glaub.

He is survived by a special friend, Bonnie Welty, Perryville; three children, Lenny (Pam) Glaub, LeRoy; and Ed Glaub and Johnny Glaub, both of Bloomington; four sisters and three brothers, Bob (Sandy) Glaub, Malden, Mo.; Ralph Glaub, New Orleans, La.; Lawrence Melfelt, Apache Junction, Ariz.; Ruby Brown, Perryville, Mo; Mary Lou (Puggy) Favier, Perryville, Mo.; Deloris Smith, Wynn, Ark.; and Mildred Kiefer, Perryville, Mo.; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joe and Danny Glaub; one stepbrother; and four stepsisters.

He was a laborer with Union Camp Paper Mill.
