Lillian Mae Fleming, 97, of Gridley, passed away 3 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 1, 2017) at Heritage Health, El Paso.
She was born June 10, 1920, in Lexington, a daughter of Sylvester Calvin and Mary Eunice Williams Clark. She married Ray H. Fleming on May 24, 1936, in Eureka. He passed away on April 29, 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Ron (Denise) Fleming, Gridley, and Robert (Diane) Fleming, El Paso; one daughter, Sharon (Lou, deceased) Wheelock, Las Vegas; family friend, Beverly Wassenhove, thought of as a daughter; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Fleming; three brothers; and four sisters.
Lillian worked at the Gridley and El Paso meat lockers for 10 years.
Her graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gridley Cemetery. Pastor Tim Huckins will officiate. There will be no visitation. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso, is handling the arrangements for the family.
