Oliver Glenn Wilson, 92, of Luther Oaks, Bloomington, passed away 2:37 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 11, 2018) at Heartland Healthcare, Normal.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. There will be no service. Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Glenn was born Nov. 20, 1925, in Clinton, the son of Oliver Asa and Anna Lotus (Walden) Wilson. He married Opal E. Clary on Aug. 27, 1946, in Clinton. She passed away Feb. 14, 2013.
Survivors include his son, Gary D. (Susan) Wilson, Bloomington; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilson, Clinton.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Glenn Wilson; two sisters; and one brother.
Glenn farmed most of his life in Wilson Township, DeWitt County, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomington; Bloomington Country Club; and Bloomington Consistory and York Rites.
