SAYBROOK — Thomas L. Williamson, 62, of Saybrook died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday (April 3, 2014) at his home in Saybrook.

His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Wesbein United Methodist Church in Saybrook with the Rev. Paulette Cott officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. before the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Saybook.

Mr. Williamson was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Bloomington, a son of Richard Lewis and Jean Shubert Williamson. He married Candy Crowe on July 27, 1973, in Saybrook. She survives in Saybrook.

Also surviving are two sons, Jason (Janet) Williamson, LeRoy, and Casey Williamson; a brother, Gerald (Paula) Williamson; two sisters, Peggy (Mark) Clark, and Barbara (Delmar) Nunamaker; his mother, Jean Williamson, all of Saybrook; and a grandson, Matthew Williamson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John, and his father.

Tom was employed as the site supervisor at Alliance Grain in Saybrook, where he worked since 1976. He enjoyed fishing and working with his tools. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Wesbein Methodist Church, the Community Cancer Center in Normal or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City is in charge of arrangements.
