BLOOMINGTON — Visibility is reduced in some parts of Central Illinois this morning, due to patchy fog, especially in rural areas.

The fog is expected to burn off by mid-morning and forecasters at the National Weather Service in Lincoln are calling  a clear day with a high near 81 degrees.

Later, a weather system will move close to the area and bring a chance of thunderstorms Thursday night to parts of Central Illinois, but severe weather is not expected.

There is a possibility of more thunderstorms on Friday and Friday night, but the mild temperatures, for early August, will continue. The high on Friday is expected to be around 80 degrees.

The sun should be shining over the weekend with highs around 80 degrees again. Thunderstorms may return on Monday.
