The Bloomington-Normal Citizens for Peace & Justice has organized a plan: Meet at the post office on Towanda Avenue to show your deep respect and support of our troops. We urge the president to bring them home now.
Each man, woman and child - American, Iraqi or of other nations - is precious and deserves to live.
How can we support the sacredness of life if we hold a machine gun? Can you picture Jesus toting one on an Iraqi street?
The 19th of the month was chosen for this rally because the war began on March 19, 2003. A witness action will occur each month on the 19th.
Stand up for your beliefs. It gives courage to others to also join.
Be grateful and proud of the sacred life you breathe and let the next generation look back with pride on this critical moment in history.

I'm a Catholic and recently learned the Catholic Church does not support the Iraq war.
I wonder what other religions do not support the war publicly?
This war does not meet the "just war" qualifications and is immoral, as are our current president and vice president. They need to be impeached by people of courage.
