In response to the letter about Tracy Morgan's performance being "blue" ("Tracy Morgan show a bad choice by BCPA"):
The writer should have taken the time out to research the actor before purchasing tickets. Tracy Morgan's stand-ups are not "Thirty Rock" or "Saturday Night Live" material. He should not fault him for something he did not do his homework on.
It's no different than going to see Eddie Murphy perform on stage and thinking it's the same Eddie Murphy you see on "Daddy Daycare." The writer can only fault himself for walking out on the show.
If he followed the actor through his career, the writer would have known what he was walking into. So I think the writer should apologize to his wife and lay the blame on himself, not Tracy Morgan.
