I recently was in the park for the Labor Day weekend. I noticed that no police were out in the park. Traffic was going the wrong way. And there were a few people drinking.

Now on the 4th of July and for the Culture Fest, there were several police officers at Miller Park on foot, bikes and cars. So I guess the question is: When there are activities where blacks are involved, why are the police always present?
