Politicians are like Christians in one way. We expect more from them and when we don't see it, we realized they're not what they profess to be.

I'm a Republican, but I'm also a Christian. I think both Republicans and Christians have gotten away from their core beliefs and values. They have become wishy-washy and back-sliders.

Abraham Lincoln said it best in his "Rules of Conduct": "Stand with anybody that stands right. Stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong."
