Why call for gun control but not vehicle control?

Referring to shootings at Virginia Tech, the two brothers in Bloomington and now Northern Illinois University, all the big loudmouths are again hollering for more firearms control.

I am guessing there are 80 percent more people killed in auto accidents than with firearms in a year's time.

In Sunday's Pantagraph (Feb. 17), there were stories about the Middletown truck crash that killed four youths and injured two youths (Page A1) and eight people killed when a car hit a crowd watching street racing in Accokeek, Md. (Page A3).

The loudmouths never or have not yet yelled for more vehicle or driver control. How come?
