Why are we paying more money per month for Comcast than we did for Insight? We are also getting several fewer channels this month and paying the same amount.
Comcast will not decrease our bills or give us substitute channels to replace the ones we lost.
I spoke to the city of Bloomington to ask which entity chose Comcast. I was told the city was also simply informed of this decision afterwards. They think it was a state decision as Illinois got Comcast and Indiana got Insight.
I realize there are alternative choices out there, but for cable this is it. Isn't this called a monopoly?
It used to be things like this type of price gouging were illegal. Who stands up for our rights as average citizens? Obviously, now if we want to watch TV, we have to pay for it big time.
