We the people cordially invite Sen. Dick Durbin to join in defending the American republic.

The Federal Reserve System is going after the wealth of our country by inflating the money supply. In case the senator does not know, the Federal Reserve System is a privately owned business with the power to regulate the entire money supply.

With their power to print money out of thin air, the private owners "earn" interest on money that is based on nothing more than the collateral that American people put up for loans. The Fed risks nothing.

The Fed has printed a lot of money in the last year, at least $30,000 per citizen, and they refuse to tell America what they are using it for.

Sen. Durbin should ask the Fed what it is doing with all that money by co-sponsoring S.604 Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009.
