Halloween trick-or-treaters looking for candy can add the governor's mansion in Springfield to their list of stops.
Gov. Pat Quinn will host trick-or-treaters at the mansion on Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Candy-seekers need to be 12 years old or younger and accompanied by an adult.
Candy being handed out at the mansion was donated by Hershey, Mars and Wrigley.
Kids can also grab a UNICEF collection box while they're there. The idea is that trick-or-treaters collect money while they're out picking up candy to help the humanitarian program that cares for needy children around the world.
