It is time for the mayor of Bloomington to step down for the good of the community. His continuing actions are damaging the reputation of the community and may result in the further loss of businesses and people.

There is no room in an elected government for his type of behavior. I was a resident of Bloomington for more than 60 years and left largely because the direction the elected officials have chosen to take the community.

The mayor's recent behavior reinforces my reasons for leaving. No one wants to live in a city where disagreements with any elected official result in belittlement and name-calling.
