I want to acknowledge a past patriotic position of President Trump. Five times during the Vietnam era he was called upon to serve his country. He sensed he was not ready for the task and bravely deferred to five others to meet the military needs of his nation. I’m a Vietnam-era Air Force volunteer.
This man of deferment patriotically noted football players deviating from desired pomp by taking a knee in protest of injustices. Yes, they have the constitutional right of expression, but have they presented their birth certificates to verify they qualify for that right? If the public wants a little pageantry with their entertainment, management should pull on those economic chains to get folks in line. Those that don’t should be sent to “the group.”
Next, pan the arena fans and identify those walking, talking, eating, drinking, and having fun during the anthem. They go into “the group” also.
Next, the social device cameras will be activated so “the state” can identify those individuals listening and watching the anthem's presentation but are not taking the proper position of reverence. Into “the group."
We then send “the group” to Mexico and put them to work in the fields and factories at a wage comparable to what we pay their nationals here. In exchange, Mexico will pay for and build the wall. But it will be turned around to keep the Americans left from escaping the tin pot dictatorship that made America hate again — even more.
