EDMONTON, Alberta - Former Illinois State quarterback Kevin Glenn threw for 416 yards and a touchdown as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers played to a 39-39 tie at Edmonton in Week 1 of the Canadian Football League season.
Glenn completed 29 of 44 passes and tied the game at 32-32 with a touchdown pass with less than 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
Glenn is beginning his eighth season in the CFL and his fourth as the quarterback of the Blue Bombers.
Winnipeg hosts Montreal this Thursday. The Blue Bombers' July 19 game will air at noon July 21 on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago.
