Ramirez was 3-for-6 with three walks and an RBI, while Johnson was 2-for-6 with a walk during their three-game rehab stint over the weekend.
Michael Brenly went 3 for 4 with a double for the Chiefs. Nelson Perez hit a solo homer.
Marcus Hatley (5-5) took the pitching loss, allowing three runs on five hits in three innings.
Both Ramirez, who had been on the disabled list with a dislocated shoulder since May 9, and Johnson will be available today for the Cubs series opener against the Atlanta Braves.
Joining them fresh off the DL will be relief pitcher Angel Guzman, who pitched a scoreless 1 1/3 innings for Triple-A Iowa on Friday after throwing an earlier scoreless inning with the Chiefs.
