The Peoria Chiefs kept alive their hopes of gaining a wild-card berth in the Midwest League playoffs by scoring twice in the ninth inning for a 3-1 victory over the Swing of the Quad Cities at Davenport, Iowa.
The Chiefs are one game behind Cedar Rapids in the wild-card race with four games left.
Russ Canzler's single in the ninth gave the Chiefs a 2-1 lead and Ty Wright followed with another run-scoring single.
