Returning starters: Seniors - Steve Herek, Tyler Rich, Jacob Thede; Junior - Matt Herek.
FYI: Freshman Alex Burge has stepped right in and given the Purple Raiders a solid threesome at the top of their lineup with Matt Herek and Rich. Senior Kyle VonHolten didn't earn a letter last season, but was the team medalist at the Macomb Invitational.
Coach: Tom Prescher
2006: Tied for sixth in Class A State Tournament; sectional champions
Returning starters: Senior - Michael Ginnetti; Juniors - Tim Gaertner, Greg Naleway; Sophomore - Jake Walters.
FYI: Sophomores Chase Hundman and Jacob Koch figure to be the Saints' Nos. 5 and 6 players behind the four returnees from last year's state tournament squad.
Coach: Nathan Foster
2006: Second in Big 12
Returning starter: Senior - Ryan Smoot.
FYI: Smoot is the only letterman on the Ironmen's roster. Seniors Frankie Johnson and Chris Wolf, along with sophomore Nick Spaniol, are being counted on to fill in behind Smoot.
Coach: Tim Franz
2006: Big 12 champions, sectional qualifiers
Returning starters: Seniors - Jeff Bragg, Drew Meiner, David Shelton.
FYI: Shelton, a four-year regular, has helped the Wildcats to two straight Big 12 titles and and tied for 26th in last year's Class AA State Tournament. West has plenty of experience with seven seniors, while junior Ross Leary is coming off a strong summer.

2006: Class AA state champions
Returning starters: Seniors - Sean Dozier, Eric Meier; Junior - Kyle English.
FYI: The competition to join the Pioneers' top three could be fierce with seniors Jason Gendron, Andy McNeely and Michael Fritz, juniors Ben Kilborn and Kieran Pereira, sophomore Peter McKinzie and freshman Logan Stauffer in the mix.
