Olympia prevails

Kelsey Heiser dished out 11 assists and Britney Hendricks recorded eight digs for Olympia on the way to a 25-16, 25-16 Corn Belt triumph over Prairie Central at Stanford.

Kari Diller recorded 10 assists to lead Prairie Central (7-13-2, 2-8). Olympia improved to 20-5 and 7-3 in the Corn Belt.

Lexington wins at home

Jessica Kraft gave out 15 assists and Mandy Feit had 17 digs for Lexington (19-5, 10-1) on the way to defeating Blue Ridge 25-15, 25-22 at Lexington in a Heart of Illinois contest.

Both Devin Houser and Chelsea Reynolds recorded 11 digs for Blue Ridge (5-14, 3-7).

Illini Central rolls

Annie Cave scored 12 service points, including three aces, as host Illini Central (17-8) cruised to a 25-17, 25-12 win over Tri-City at Mason City. Kelsey Laugel handed out 13 assists while Sierra Burris registered nine kills for the Cougars.

Dwight tops Coal City

On the strength of 25 assists from Amie Hogan and 19 kills from Carly Perschnick, Dwight defeated Coal City, 25-13, 19-25, 25-16.

Chaney Tambling also recorded 10 service points for Dwight (19-5-2, 6-2).

Mahomet sweeps Rantoul

Greta Goddard had 11 service points and 19 digs to lead Mahomet-Seymour past Rantoul, 26-24, 25-9, in a Corn Belt match at Mahomet.

Dani Bunch recorded nine kills, three blocks and five service points for the Bulldogs (17-5, 7-3), while Sam Frisby hammered eight kills and Mel Weimer dished out 23 assists.

Tremont tops Fisher

Brie Schweigert led a balanced attack with 12 service points, including four aces, as Tremont downed host Fisher, 25-16, 25-16 in Heart of Illinois play.

Lyndsie Watson had five kills for Tremont (13-10, 8-3), while Kaylie Endress put up seven blocks for the Turks. Fisher (9-8, 4-5) was led by Kaite Neef with five service points and Jordan Hobbs with eight assists.

Tri-Point defeated

Courtney Gallahue had eight service points and teammate Morgan Tharp had six service points, but it wasn't enough to stop St. Joseph-Odgen from beating Tri-Point, 25-18, 25-17, in a Sangamon Valley match at Cullom.

Clinton loses on road

Shelby Huffman had 20 digs and Sarah Blythe contributed 10 kills for Clinton (7-16, 0-6) but it was not enough as the Maroons fell to St. Teresa 24-26, 25-18, 25-19 at Decatur in an Okaw Valley match.

EPG defeats Fieldcrest

Mattie Fairchild distributed 21 assists and Marqui Fairchild had 12 digs for El Paso-Gridley (17-4, 9-1) on the way to beating Fieldcrest 29-27, 19-25, 25-9 at Minonk in an HOIC match.

Kayla Conroy led Fieldcrest (11-5, 4-5) with 24 assists and seven digs and Sarah Stremlau contributed 10 kills.

GCMS outlasts LeRoy

Brittany Meyer recorded 10 service points and eight assists as GCMS rallied for a 13-25, 25-15, 25-22 Heart of Illinois win over host LeRoy.

Mel McDevitt had 16 digs and four aces, and Taylor Tjardes nailed seven kills for the Falcons. Chelsea Kline had a match-high 10 kills, Kristi Clawson added a match-high 20 assists and Jorgia Hanlin chipped in 17 digs for LeRoy (8-14, 0-9).

Heyworth clips Ridgeview

Kelli Shaffer dished out 11 assists and had five blocks as Heyworth upended Ridgeview, 25-18, 25-19, in Heart of Illinois play at Colfax.

Dakota Springer recorded nine service points and six kills for the Hornets (14-11, 5-6), while Laura Klawitter knocked down 10 kills. Chelsea Tipsord had six service points, eight assists and 11 digs for Ridgeview (5-17, 1-8).

Clubb powers CPCI

Shelby Clubb dominated the net with a match-high 14 kills and four blocks as CPCI (11-14) downed Iroquois West, 21-25, 25-15, 25-10, at Crescent City.

Iroquois West was led by Brittany Buckner with five kills.

PBL victorious

Jessica Bender scored 11 service points and handed out seven assists as PBL posted a 25-17, 25-22 Sangamon Valley win over host Watseka.

Kasey Sanders had five kills and four blocks for the Panthers (11-4, 3-1), while Jamie Garrell added 12 digs and five kills.
