Calvary Baptist (3-5) went into the second quarter trailing by one, but gained the lead in the second quarter and never looked back.

Josh McCorkle scored 16 points for the Crusaders, and teammate Seth Howerton added 12 points and four assists.

Ridgewood fell to 2-6.

Streator 63, Dixon 46: Omar Moreno led host Streator with 16 points in a North Central Conference win over Dixon.

Moreno scored 10 points in the first half to spread the lead to 16 going into the third quarter. Teammate Connor Armstrong added 10 points.

Jacksonville 46, Lincoln 40: Lincoln got off to a sluggish start offensively, scoring just five points in the first eight minutes, and fell victim to Jacksonville's Chaser Todd, who hit 6 of 7 3-point attempts to finish with a game-high 21 points as the host Railsplitters dropped a Central State Eight Conference game.

Lincoln (2-5 overall, 1-1 CS8) got to the free-throw line just once, while Jacksonville (2-5, 1-1) made 10 of 14 foul shots.

The Railsplitters were led by Alex Anderson and Ben Brackney with nine points apiece. Brackney also had 11 rebounds.

Roanoke-Benson 59, St. Bede 18: Junior guard Andrew Mullins paced a balanced scoring attack with 10 points as Roanoke-Benson (3-3, 2-0) rolled over Peru St. Bede in Tri-County Conference action at Peru.

Roanoke-Benson never looked back after jumping out to a 15-5 lead in the first quarter. Jacob Byrd, Randall Koehler and Sam Durley all had eight points each for the Rockets, who outscored St. Bede 30-7 in the second half. Koehler also handled a team-high six rebounds.

Iroquois West 79, Tri-Point 62: Angel Sanchez scored a game-high 24 points, and Aaron Thomas posted a double-double as Iroquois West cruised to a Sangamon Valley Conference win over Tri-Point at Gilman.

Sanchez hit four 3-pointers, pulled down six rebounds, handed out five assists and registered six steals as Iroquois West (5-2 overall, 2-0 SVC) jumped out to a 25-15 first-quarter lead. Thomas scored 19 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds while Neil Hollingsworth chipped in 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals for the Raiders.

Jeremy Fagan led Tri-Point (1-5) with 17 points while Bryant Frechette and Ryan Moore added 11 each for the Chargers.

Illini Central 52, Athens 32: Danny Harman and Cole Brownfield combined for 28 points to lead Illini Central past Athens in Sangamo Conference play at Athens.

Harman scored a game-high 15 points, and Brownfield added 13 as the Cougars used a 20-8 second-quarter run to open a 29-20 halftime lead.

PBL 54, Clifton Central 37: Kendall Cox scored 15 points to lead PBL past Clifton Central in a Sangamon Valley contest at Paxton.

Thomas Rubarts added 12 points for the Panthers and teammate Tyler Waterstadt pitched in 10.

Peotone 49, Dwight 45: Despite 13 points from Danny Thompson and 12 from Qenarim Kongjeli, Dwight fell in an Interstate Eight Conference game at Peotone.

Dwight (2-4, 0-3) led 36-25 after three quarters but was outscored 14-9 in the final period. Jason Biswell chipped in eight points for the Trojans.

Mount Pulaski 62, Riverton 24: Paul Foley scored 23 points as Mount Pulaski rolled to a Sangamo Conference win over host Riverton. Ryan Gibbs added 12 points for the Hilltoppers, who charged out to a 19-4 first quarter lead and never looked back.
