Former Redbird Dyer signs with German team

Former Illinois State men's basketball player Levi Dyer has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Germany. Dyer will play for Science City Jena in the German Pro A League next season.

Dyer played at Illinois State from 2005-08, averaging 7.3 points and 2.3 rebounds. He ending his career ranked fifth in career 3-point field goal percentage (.422) and ninth in 3-pointers made (141). He was an All-Missouri Valley Conference Honorable Mention selection in 2007.

The Pro A League is the second-highest classification in German professional basketball.
