The city of Richmond, Va., will join the Indoor Football League for the 2010 season, the league announced Tuesday.

SportsQuest, a multi-sport training and entertainment company in Richmond, signed a letter of intent to bring the league's 21st franchise to the city.

It is the second expansion team to enter the IFL in as many weeks, following the announcement that the Arctic Predators will make Wasilla, Alaska, their home in 2010.
