Tri-Valley downs Fisher

Lauryn Reiners had nine kills, seven digs and four aces to lead Tri-Valley to a 25-22, 25-12 Heart of Illinois Conference victory over host Fisher.

Amanda Erickson scored 14 service points for the Vikings (18-5, 10-2) while Catherine Ludwig put up five blocks. Brooke Clemmons had three kills and three blocks to lead Prairie Central.

Dee-Mack downs Heyworth

Kate Poorbaugh handed out 23 assists and served eight points to spark deer Creek-Mackinaw to a 25-10, 25-22 Heart of Illinois win over Heyworth at Mackinaw.

Haley Thurmond added 10 kills and seven digs for Dee-Mack (26-3, 11-1). Laura Klawitter led Heyworth (14-12, 5-7) with five kills.

Iroquois West falls

Despite eight digs, four assists and three kills from Brittany Buckner, Iroquois West (4-19) dropped a 25-13, 25-11 Sangamon Valley Conference match to Clifton Central at Gilman.

Pontiac outlasts Rantoul

Loni Mackinson scored 13 service points, handed out 15 assists, and had six digs and three blocks as host Pontiac defeated Rantoul, 28-26, 25-12, in Corn Belt Conference play.

Ashley Timmerman had 10 service points, five kills and eight digs, while Katie Bates was big at the net for the Indians with seven blocks and four kills.

Mount Pulaski tops Athens

Kaitlyn Kutz had seven kills and 11 digs, Morgan Litterly registered seven kills and Ellen Olson dished out 13 assists as Mount Pulaski scored a 25-11, 25-19 win over Athens.

Ridgeview bounces GCMS

Lauren Kellar scored 10 service points, slammed five kills and added eight digs to lead host Ridgeview to a 25-18, 25-22 HOIC win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at Colfax.

Chelsea Tipson had a match-high 12 assists for Ridgeview (7-16, 3-9), while Lindsay Johnson had four kills and four blocks for the Mustangs. Mel McDevitt had 12 digs and Sarah Seymour served six points for GCMS (5-18, 1-10).

Blue Ridge clips Flanagan

Danielle Thompson handed out 11 assists and Jamie Hendricks hammered eight kills as host Blue Ridge downed Flanagan, 25-19, 26-24, in HOIC play at Farmer City.

Karie Timmerman had four service points, Jackie Russow had five kills and Anna Delheimer recorded eight assists for Flanagan (10-20, 2-10).

EPG trips Lexington

Moli Copple's nine service points and 19 digs and Marqui Fairchild's nine points, eight kills, and 21 digs helped El Paso-Gridley upend Lexington 26-24, 22-25, 25-22 in an HOIC match at El Paso.

Kindi Bullard added eight kills and six blocks for the Titans (19-4, 11-4), and Mattie Fairchild contributed 22 assists. Lexington (19-6, 10-2) was led by Maggie Johansen with 14 kills and Mandy Feit with 34 digs.

Perschnick leads Dwight

Carly Perschnick put down 12 kills in Dwight's 25-16, 25-17 Interstate Eight Conference win over Reed Custer at Braidwood.

The Trojans (22-5-2, 7-2) also received 18 service points and seven digs from Chaney Tambling and 17 assists from Amie Hogan.

PBL defeats Tri-Point

Jamie Garrell had 11 service points with five aces to guide PBL to a 25-17, 25-9 win over Tri-Point in Sangamon Valley Conference action at Paxton.

Jenna Seibring had six kills for PBL (15-4, 6-1) while teammates Jessica Bender and Kristen Wyman picked up five assists each. Tri-Point's Brooke Conkling had four assists while Morgan Tharp supplied five digs.

Roanoke-Benson wins

Mary Bachman scored 17 service points to key the offense and Hannah Knepp provided the defense with 27 digs as Roanoke-Benson needed three sets to defeat host Putnam County in the Tri-County Conference Tournament at Granville.

Illini Central loses

Despite nine kills from Annie Cave and 11 assists each from Sierra Burris and Kelsey Laugel, Illini Central (18-9) dropped a 27-25, 25-20 decision to Auburn. The Cougars fell to 18-9 overall.

Mahomet outlasts Eureka

Lindsay Storm collected 14 kills and 14 digs, and Daniella Bunch added 11 kills and five blocks to help Mahomet-Seymour hold off Eureka, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, in a Corn Belt Conference match at Mahomet.

The Bulldogs (20-9, 8-4) also received 33 assists from Mel Weimer and 28 digs from Greta Goddard. Chelsea Prosser paced Eureka with 12 kills and three blocks.

LeRoy defeats Fieldcrest

Kristi Clawson recorded 23 assists and teammate Jorgia Hanlin had 21 digs for host LeRoy in a 26-24, 24-26, 31-29 HOIC upset win over Fieldcrest at LeRoy.

LeRoy improved to 10-15 overall and 2-10 in conference. Fieldcrest is 13-8 and 6-6.

Clinton loses on road

Despite getting 24 digs from Shelby Huffman and 13 service points from Meghan Matthews, Clinton (8-19, 1-7) lost at Sullivan 18-25, 25-20, 25-19 in an Okaw Valley Conference match.
