GENEVA - Solo home runs by Ryan Flaherty and Josh Harrison helped boost the Peoria Chiefs to a 3-1 Midwest League victory over Kane County Thursday.
Kyler Burke's sacrifice fly also drove in a run as the Chiefs improved to 2-5 for the second half of the season. Kane County fell to 4-3.
Christopher Archer (3-2) earned the win after striking out four during five-scoreless innings of three-hit pitching. Christopher Huseby picked up his eighth save after striking out two in one inning of work.
