DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Donovan Solano singled twice, and Domingo German allowed just one hit over seven innings as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders defeated the Durham Bulls 4-0 on Wednesday.

German (8-2) struck out eight and walked three to pick up the win.

Up 1-0 in the seventh, Scranton/WB extended its lead when Solano hit an RBI single, driving in Mark Payton.

The RailRiders later tacked on a run in both the eighth and ninth innings. In the eighth, Garrett Cooper scored on an error, while Miguel Andujar hit an RBI single in the ninth.

Yonny Chirinos (13-6) went five innings, allowing one run and three hits in the International League game. He also struck out one and walked two.

Jake Bauers doubled twice for the Bulls. Durham was held scoreless for the 10th time this season, while the Scranton/WB staff recorded its 15th shutout of the year.
