IWU women's golf finishes second at Wartburg Invitational

CEDAR RAPID, Iowa - Lindsey Haines shot a 78 on Sunday to lead the Illinois Wesleyan women's golf team to a second place finish at the Wartburg Invitational at Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Titans carded a second day total of 325 to move past 12th-ranked Wartburg. No. 3 Gustavus Adolphus won the tournament by 23 strokes.

Haines placed ninth place overall, Nicole Spear finished in a 10th place tie while Maddie Murphy and Erica Woodall tied for 16th place.

Laura Heck of St. Thomas led wire-to-wire to take individual honors.
