CHAMPAIGN - Former Illinois basketball star Deron Williams and Chicago Bulls rookie guard Derrick Rose will be on display at the Assembly Hall for an Oct. 17 NBA preseason game between the Utah Jazz play the Bulls.

Williams, a reserve guard on the U.S. Olympic team that begins play in the Beijing Olympics next month, led the Fighting Illini the NCAA championship game in 2005. Rose was the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft after leading Memphis to the championship game this past season. The game will start at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 23 at the Assembly Hall box office. Tickets also can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (217) 333-5000. Ticket prices range from $70 to $25.
