Court and Tyler McNeely both had home runs in the second game, which saw Court go 2 for 4 and drive in three runs. It was Court's two-run homer in the fourth which broke a 2-2 tie. McNeely's round-tripper was a solo shot to left in the first.

Ryan Copeland (3-4) fanned seven, walked two and allowed four hits in nine innings. He faced just 12 batters the final four innings.

In the first game, Court had two hits including a double to drive in four runs. Teammate Anthony Ruffolo had a two-run home run in the fifth as ISU outhit its host, 13-9. McNeely had three hits including two doubles. He was the first of six consecutive Redbirds to reach base in ISU's four-run first inning.

Redbird starter Corey Maines (6-2) earned the win, striking out seven and walking four in 7 2/3 innings. Matt Miraball had two hits and two RBIs.
