CHICAGO HEIGHTS — Two-run home runs by Jack Butler in the first inning and Garrett Shea in the sixth were not enough to prevent the Bloomington Bobcats from losing to the Southland Vikings, 9-6, in Midwest Collegiate Baseball League action on Wednesday.

Butler finished with three hits and Shea had two as did Addison Fugit and Nick Figus. Sam Gordon (0-1) took the loss on the mound as the Bobcats fell to 1-2.
