Senior Molly McGraw scored eight points in the final quarter while junior Maddie Merritt added seven to propel the Illinois Wesleyan women’s basketball team to a 78-70 exhibition win over Division II Quincy University on Sunday at the Pepsi Arena in Quincy.
McGraw finished with a game-high 18 points and Merritt had 17 for the Titans who outscored the Hawks, 46-29, in the second half.
Rebekah Ehresman added 12 points while Syndey Shanks chipped in seven points and a team-high seven rebounds.
IWU opens its regular season on Friday, Nov. 17, against Colorado College in the University of Chicago Maroon Invitational.
