CHICAGO -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team lost a 93-49 exhibition game at Division I DePaul on Friday in Chicago.
The Titans stumbled out of the gate against the DePaul, trailing 9-0 early and 27-2 with seven minutes to play in the first half. DePaul, ranked No. 17 in the Associate Press preseason poll, led at intermission, 46-16.
IWU got a team-high 10 points from senior Christina Solari, who was named to the D3hoops.com first team preseason All-American team earlier in the day. Sophomore Kylie Castans added eight points.
The Titans open their regular season on Nov. 17 at home against Blackburn.
