FYI: Despite shooting 31.1 percent from the field, No. 25 IWU came within two points of upsetting No. 20 Wisconsin-Whitewater on the road Tuesday when the Titans were outrebounded, 48-37. Maddie Merritt and Molly McGraw lead Wesleyan in scoring at 13.7 points per game. Rebekah Ehresman adds 13.0. The next three scorers are reserves Kendall Sosa (9.0), Kelsey Walsberg (7.3) and Raven Hughes (7.3).

A year ago, IWU lost to Wash U, 87-86. The No. 10-ranked Bears are led by 6-2 junior Madeline Homoly (15.0 ppg), 6-0 junior Stephanie Botkin (11.5) and 5-8 junior Rachael Sondag (10.5).

In Saturday’s 5 p.m. (CST) contest, host DePauw (3-0), ranked No. 15 nationally, will face Rose-Hulman (2-1). Saturday’s losers will play for third on Sunday at a time to be announced. Likewise, Saturday’s winners will play Sunday for the title.

A year ago, IWU topped Rose-Hulman, 66-38. The Engineers are led by 6-1 junior Ally Bromenschenkel (17.3 ppg). DePauw is paced by 5-7 junior Maya Howard (17.7 ppg).
